The Canadian Home Builder’s Association’s (CHBA) Qualified Net Zero Ready Homes are designed and built to meet the same efficiency standards as Net Zero Homes. The key difference is the absence of a renewable energy system on Net Zero Ready homes at the time of construction. However, these homes are strategically designed and constructed to easily accommodate the installation of a renewable energy system in the future.
