We are looking for a Director, Production to lead a critical part of our business. This role is responsible for the oversight and management of drafting, estimating, and purchasing, ensuring the successful delivery of homes that meet Urbandale’s standards for quality, performance, and customer experience.
This position plays a central role in bringing our communities to life. From early planning through to construction readiness, the Director, Production ensures that the systems, processes, and people are aligned to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
The Director works in close partnership with land, sales, marketing, design, construction, warranty, and accounting to support overall business performance. This is a highly collaborative leadership role, with a strong emphasis on communication, accountability, and follow-through.
The Director, Production is a key member of the Urbandale Construction executive team.

The Director, Production is responsible for ensuring that every home is set up for success. From costing and drawings to permits and purchasing, this role defines the foundation on which construction, customer experience, and business performance depend.

What You’ll Lead
Production Oversight
Provide leadership and direction across drafting, estimating, and purchasing functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance standards.
Pre-Construction Planning
Oversee all costing, drawings, permits, trade contracts and purchasing activities required to prepare projects for construction and deliver homes efficiently and effectively.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, mentor, and support the estimating and drafting teams. Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment that supports both business results and individual growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with land, sales, marketing, design, construction, warranty, and accounting to ensure alignment and coordination across all phases of the business.
Process and Performance
Establish and maintain processes that support consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across production functions. Ensure strong communication, follow-up, and execution.
Business Outcomes
Support the achievement of key business objectives, including revenue targets, margins, and production timelines, through effective planning and execution.

We are looking for a New Home Sales Consultant to represent Urbandale communities and guide buyers through one of the most important decisions they will make. From the moment a visitor walks into a model home to the day they take possession, this role helps shape how people discover and experience the Urbandale brand.
This position sits at the intersection of development, sales, and customer experience. You will lead the sales process within your assigned community, build relationships with prospective buyers, and ensure every interaction reflects the quality for which Urbandale is known.
The New Home Sales Consultant plays a key role in delivering a consistent, thoughtful customer experience while contributing to the overall success of each community.

What You’ll Lead
Customer Experience
Act as the first point of contact for prospective buyers. Welcome visitors to model homes and sales centres, build rapport, and guide them through the homebuying journey.
Sales Execution
Present floor plans, model homes, and community features in a clear and engaging way. Help buyers understand their options and make informed decisions.
Lead Generation and Follow-Up
Actively build and manage a pipeline of prospective buyers through networking, referrals, and realtor relationships, while maintaining consistent follow-up.
Purchase and Contract Process
Guide buyers through the purchase process, including selections, upgrades, contract review, and finalizing agreements.
Market Knowledge
Maintain a strong understanding of community features, pricing, competitor offerings, and local market trends to support effective conversations.
Administration and CRM
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM system.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of new home sales experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field (an asset)
- Strong sense of social perceptiveness and emotional intelligence
- Professional and effective communication skills. Bilingualism is an asset
- A passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
- A high degree of initiative, organization, and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict management skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and industry partners
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
Technical Skills
Experience with common business and sales tools, including:

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to provide essential on-site support to our sales team and to help deliver a consistent, welcoming experience for prospective homebuyers.
From greeting visitors and conducting model home tours to supporting the sales process behind the scenes, this role helps shape how people experience the Urbandale brand.
This position works closely with the New Home Sales Consultant(s), construction site staff, and other Sales Assistants to support the sales goals of each community. You will also act on behalf of the New Home Sales Consultant during their absence and during high-traffic periods in the sales centre.

What You’ll Lead
Customer Engagement
Greet visitors, deliver sales presentations, and showcase model homes and community amenities.
Administrative Support

Lead Management
Follow up with prospective buyers and assist the Sales Consultant with nurturing leads.
Sales Centre Maintenance
Ensure the model home and sales centre are clean, tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
Product Knowledge
Maintain in-depth knowledge of available homes, pricing, and upgrades.
What You Bring
- Experience in new home sales (an asset, but not required)
- High school diploma
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field (an asset)
- New home industry experience (an asset)
- Strong sense of social perceptiveness and emotional intelligence
- Professional and effective communication skills. Bilingualism is an asset
- Passion for excellence in customer experience delivery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and flexibility
- Detail-oriented while being able to think strategically
- Strong time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills
