Urbandale Construction has recently entered into a partnership with Enbridge Gas Distribution and Bullfrog Power, a Canadian supplier of electricity sourced solely from renewable sources, to offer solar hot water heaters to Urbandale Construction home buyers.
This partnership allows us to take advantage of preferred pricing on system costs and government subsidies to offer the solar hot water heaters at approximately a $2,000 savings to our new home purchasers.
Solar hot water heaters work by pre-heating your domestic water before it enters your standard gas hot water heater. Studies show that in Ottawa’s climate a solar hot water heater can reduce your water heating costs by 50 to 60%.
